We built the system we wish existed.
Our co-founder—Chris Campos—launched his Amazon DSP in 2020, he voluntarily exited in 2024 due to rising insurance costs.
Like many last-mile operators, Chris focused heavily on safety. At the time, Chris believed that was enough. But by the time he realized that safety and risk management were not the same thing—and that insurance outcomes were being shaped between renewals—it was already too late.
That realization changed the way he understood the insurance relationship—and ultimately led to the creation of GRYPHON.
We believe the insurance relationship should deliver more than a policy renewal once a year.
It should help last-mile operators manage risk more proactively throughout the operation, strengthen insurance outcomes over time, and build more sustainable businesses.

“CHANGE requires EVOLUTION” is the mindset that drives Chris’s approach to leadership, risk, and business growth.
As a former Amazon DSP owner, Chris experienced firsthand how operational decisions, claims activity, and insurance performance are deeply connected — and how most last-mile operators receive very little support bridging those worlds together.
Today, as Co-Founder of GRYPHON, he works with last-mile operators to take a more proactive approach to operational risk management through ongoing guidance, safety strategy, training, and risk visibility designed to help reduce preventable losses and strengthen insurance outcomes over time.
